Challenge
Parentified children tend to grow up too fast with many adult responsibilities, caring roles and pressure put upon their shoulders. This can shape their careers, relationships and health in the future and I wanted to better understand people's experiences, especially eldest daughters.
Discovery
User Research
I conducted a short survey aimed at eldest and parentified daughters to better understand their experiences and struggles, receiving 75+ responses within 48 hours through posting on Linkedin and in various global whatsapp communities.
What were the results?
I was shocked at the early age at which respondents were parentified - mostly before the age of 17.
The most common answer to a toll of parentification was 4/5.

Design Process
Designing with Claude and figma
Using Claude Code I added my survey results and certain parameters to create the first iteration of the app, I connected Claude to my figma MCP to create each flow.
